Revisión de alcance sobre la adaptación psicológica y la adaptación sociocultural de adolescentes migrantes.

La adaptación a una nueva sociedad es especialmente compleja durante la adolescencia, una etapa marcada por una mayor vulnerabilidad y transiciones del desarrollo. Esta revisión de alcance analiza la conceptualización y medición de la adaptación psicológica y sociocultural en adolescentes migrantes, considerando estudios empíricos cuantitativos o mixtos publicados en español o inglés entre 2019 y 2024, identificados mediante búsquedas en Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, SciELO, Redalyc y BASE. Se extrajo información sobre las variables, los instrumentos utilizados y sus características psicométricas. Se incluyeron nueve estudios. Los hallazgos indican que la adaptación psicológica se conceptualiza como un funcionamiento saludable, autoestima positiva y relaciones significativas con el entorno, influida por factores sociodemográficos, psicológicos y relacionales. De los 13 instrumentos que miden la adaptación psicológica, solo uno evalúa explícitamente el constructo. La adaptación sociocultural fue medida directamente en un solo estudio, y se define como la capacidad para desenvolverse eficazmente en la vida diaria dentro de la cultura de acogida, influida por la identidad cultural y la distancia cultural percibida. Estos hallazgos destacan la necesidad de distinciones conceptuales más claras y de mejores herramientas de medición en la investigación sobre la adaptación de adolescentes migrantes
