Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission is an original research article that has not been previously published, nor has been sent to another journal for consideration.
- The article must have an abstract (250 words max) and 3-5 keywords submitted, both abstract and keywords provided in English and Spanish.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word
- The document complies with APA 7th edition style, both in format and citation and references.
- The article must be anonymous, must not make direct or implicit references to the author's names or academic affiliation. If the authors quote or cite their prior works, it must be done in an impersonal manner. A separate document must be provided with the author's names, academic affiliation, postal address, e-mail, ORCID id and financial sources, if available.
- The bibliographic discussion is duly up to date, focusing mainly on texts published in mainstream journals, indexed in WoS, Scopus, ERIH PLUS or SciELO. This is according to the expected percentages according to discipline: In psychology, 60% of references must correspond to the last 5 years for articles. On the other hand, in interdisciplinary works and philosophy, 50% must be from the last 10 years.
- Where available, URLs for the references or their DOIs have been provided.
