THEORY OF JUDGMENT IN ZUBIRI'S EARLY WRITINGS

The work is based in Xavier Zubiri ́s Primeros Escritos (1921-1926) and focuses in the key theme of Husserl ̈s Investigaciones Lógicas, in which the topic of intentionality is introduced. It is with regards to this work of Husserl that we will evaluate the al- leged originality of Zubiri ́s work, This is due, according to him, to the problem of the judgment is closely related with the topic of truth. Thus, the concept of objectivity and existence is analised. At the same time the notion of will is alluded, according to Zubiri, a judgment it is not an act of will, that is, an assent to a judicial content or propositional, neither an act in which two objects or representations are related. For this reason the phenomenological nature of the judgment is still open. Zubiri ́s originality with regards to Husserl is patent in the assertion that the being of the predicate is intentional, whereas the being of the subject is objec- tive, for this reason, there is no place for explaining the relationship between these two elements as if they were of the same nature.
